THE EFFECT OF THE KNISLEY LEARNING MODELS ON STUDENTS' MATHEMATICAL REFLECTIVE THINKING ABILITY IN THE MATERIAL OF TWO VARIABLE LINEAR EQUATION SYSTEMS

This study aims to determine the effect of the Knisley learning model on students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities. This research is a quantitative research. This type of research is a quasi experiment (quasi experiment). The population in this study were students of SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung. The sample of this research is class VIII-1 as the experimental class and class VIII-5 as the control class. Sampling using purposive random sampling technique, namely determining the sample with certain considerations. The design in this study used the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and tests of mathematical reflektive thinking ability. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test test for the control class and the experimental class, Sig. (2-tailed) and ∝ =0,05 which is 0,042 . because the sig value is 0,042 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected so the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, the results of the study concluded that there was an influence of the Knisley learning model on students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities
